    Elah 'va movie..

Apologies for the poor title.. Just confirmed to Blu-ray U.K release is the Tommy Lee Jones flick In The Valley Of Elah. Also starring Charlize Theron and Jason Patric this makes it's UK debut on 2nd June. However, being what this blog is I try to give you readers a slight advantage over other folk.. hint.. it's U.S region free and is already available to buy from (as always recommended) Movietyme and DVDWorldUSA. Always a nice feeling cracking open a new release knowing your seeing it before other people get to

    Synopsis as follows:

"When model soldier Mike Deerfield (Jonathan Tucker) mysteriously goes AWOL, shortly after returning to the U.S. from the front lines in Iraq, his career officer father Hank (Tommy Lee Jones), enlists the aid of police detective Emily Sanders (Charlize Theron) in the search for his son. His wife Joan (Susan Sarandon) also joins them to uncover the truth of his disappearance."

Tommy Lee Jones reputedly puts in a great performance in this movie, at points heart rendering. One for the list to watch..I'm a big fan of Tommy Lee Jones, he's always such a presence on film and he should be well matched by the superbly capable Susan Sarandon. Certainly this film looks worthy of a rent at the very least and it won't be long before I put it in my collection.
