In an early Press release, Dreamworks have released details of the recent cinematic macabre musical "Sweeney Todd" starring Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. Whilst spec's are not yet known the street date for release has now been confirmed as 1st of April in the US.(Worldwide dates still to be confirmed)

As a fan of Tim Burtons "Corpse Bride" I'll probably be picking this one up upon release in the UK on Blu-ray rather than import the HD-DVD from the US earlier in the year since there's not a lot of time between the two release dates.
